Payments
Cash, pay-in-store, store-credit, and connected card processing through Stripe, PayPal and Ziina — each store connects and manages its own payment account.
A payment that fails or stalls shouldn't cost a store the order — or force a customer to rebuild their whole basket to try again.
How customers pay
Every payment method a store needs
Cash, pay-in-store, store-credit/wallet, plus connected card processing through Stripe, PayPal and Ziina — each store connects and manages its own payment account.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
On top of standard card processing.
Clear failure messages
Human-readable messages to the customer if a payment fails — never a raw technical error, and an order is never left stuck if a confirmation is delayed.
Recovering a failed or changed payment
Pay-again, not order-again
When a payment doesn't go through, the customer lands on a screen that says their order is saved and starts on the payment method they already chose — no second order, no lost basket.
Change my order
A customer who wants to add, remove or fix something after starting to pay can do it themselves — the unpaid order is cancelled and every item, option, note and tip goes straight back into their cart. Items that have since sold out are flagged, not silently dropped.
Cancel an unpaid order
A genuine "I don't want it" is one tap with an optional reason. Nothing is charged and stock goes back on the shelf.
Awaiting-payment flag
Any order paid by card or online gateway that hasn't confirmed yet is clearly flagged on the order list and the fulfilment board, so staff can tell it apart from a normal cash-on-delivery order at a glance.
Built to prevent double handling
The system is designed so a paid order cannot be cancelled or paid twice, no one can pay for someone else's order, and an order the store has already started on can't be pulled from under the kitchen without an override.
